Fish It Beginner’s Guide (2026)

Welcome to the world of Fish It! This fishing simulator RPG offers deep progression, but starting out can be overwhelming. This guide covers everything you need to know to go from a bamboo pole to a deep-sea master.

1. The Basics: Casting & Reeling

Your first tool is the Basic Rod. Walk to the water’s edge at Blue Lake and click to cast.

• Casting Bar: Click when the bar is green for a “Perfect Cast” (increases luck).
• Reeling: When a fish bites, a minigame starts. Keep the bar inside the fish icon to reel it in.

2. Selling Your Catch

Once your inventory is full, head to the Merchant NPC near the spawn.

• Sell All: Quickly converts fish to Coins.
• Market: Check the trading board for high-value fish like the Golden Koi.

3. Upgrading Your Gear

Don’t hoard your coins! Your priority should be:

1. Better Rod: Buy the Fast Rod as soon as possible to increase catch speed.
2. Backpack: Larger capacity means fewer trips to the merchant.
3. Boat: Unlocks access to the Ocean Biome and beyond.
