🦈 How to Catch

Catching the Abyssal King is a true test of patience and gear.

Requirements

1. Rod: King’s Rod is highly recommended due to the massive weight of this fish. If not, use the Magma Rod or Rod of the Depths.
2. Bait: You MUST use Truffleworm. It is the only bait that reliably attracts the King.
3. Time: Night time boosts the spawn rate significantly.

Location Strategy

• Enter The Depths (Vertigo Key required).
• Find the Grand Reef crevice and use the Heart of Zeus to enter Atlantis.
• Locate the Kraken Pool.
• Cast your line and pray. The fight will be difficult (Control is erratic).

💰 Value

A standard Abyssal King sells for ~2,500 C$. If you catch a Shiny or Frozen variant, the price can skyrocket to over 20,000 C$, making it one of the most valuable fish in the game.
